Old school......

So many years ago before my digital adventure began I started my photographic journey with film. Yes, film :-)

When I lived in Kalamazoo, my apartment was 10 minutes from the pro lab. Oh how lucky I was then. *sigh* I am currently 40 minutes or so from it now, bummer. The next lab, Norman Camera, is about a 25 minute drive or so, not bad but it still took me over a year to turn in the 3 rolls of color 120 film I had! LOL . I have in the past developed B&W in my home but not lately. What's the point of the film talkie you ask? Well, I think I've grown bored with the same old same old..... shoot the pic with the boat anchor camera (a loving term, as the camera is very heavy), upload, PS it, play with it, all done.

Okay, time to mix it up! Lets see, I own the famed F100 (which I do shot about 2 rolls a month or so), 4 yep 4 Holga's which some of my most proud personal work has come from, a Yashica A TLR, various other TLR's and throw in a russian Fed and a couple Yashica Electro G's and that is the film nest. No wonder my hubby tells me NO MORE!

This spring/summer I'm bringing out the film to see what great techniques I can use. Someone say Crossprocess? a little holga B&W perhaps?
